  If you take your car here be careful they don't complete unnecessary work or work that wasnt requested, also be careful they don't add extra costs to your bill which I have also seen.

  These guys are great. They keep me informed of what needs doing and go the extra mile to keep our cars on the road. They have repaired not only our cars when they have broken down unexpectedly but also the cars of our visitors to get them back on the road. It is great to have such reliable service and nothing is ever too much trouble.

  There are some good mechanics out there but this isn't one. D & F Auto Care are your stereotypical mechanic out to make a dollar. I took my car there for a second opinion as to whether they could fix my problem or I would have to replace the entire component. The next time I heard from them was when they called to tell me it was fixed, however when I picked up my car I was told that this was a temporary fix costing $160 and I would need to replace the component within the next few months ($900). If D & F Auto Care were a reputable mechanic they would have called to discuss this with me before charging me for an unnecessary fix (I was told by a previous mechanic that the problem wasn't urgent and the car would be fine for atleast 6 months until I was able to book it in to replace the part).
